Alford, Julius Cesaer b. May 10, 1799 d. January 1, 1863 US Congressman. A lawyer and planter in Georgia, he commanded a company of infantry during the 1836 Creek War. He was elected as an At-Large Delegate to the United States House of Representatives to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Congressman George W. B.
