Seymour, Louis 'French Louie' b. 1833 d. February 28, 1915 Folk Figure. He was nicknamed for his French Canadian heritage. He "guided" in the Central Adirondacks for over 40 years in the late 1800's and lived alone in various camps he maintained between Speculator and the Moose River Plains, including the West Canada Lakes region.
