Pidcock, James Nelson b. February 8, 1836 d. December 17, 1899 U.S. Congressman. Born in Whitehouse, New Jersey, he was educated in civil engineering who engaged in agricultural livestock pursuits, (1850-57). Entering politics, he was a member of the New Jersey State Senate (1877-80) and a delegate to the Democratic National Conventions in 1884. In 1885, he was elected as a Democrat to the Forty-ninth and Fiftieth Congresses, serving until 1889.
