Peman, Jose Maria b. May 8, 1897 d. July 19, 1981 Spanish poet and playwright. He was born in Cadiz, studied law at the university there, spent most of his life there and died and is buried there. He was appointed to the position of Director of the Royal Academy of the Spanish Language.
