Campbell, Charles Thomas b. August 10, 1823 d. April 15, 1895 Civil War Union Brigadier General. Born in Franklin County, Pennsylvania, he was a politician and served in the Army during the Mexican War. In May 1861, he joined the Union Army, and was appointed Captain in the Pennsylvania Volunteer Light Artillery, later becoming a Lieutenant Colonel of the 1st Pennsylvania Volunteer Artillery.
