Jones, Alexander Hamilton b. July 21, 1822 d. January 29, 1901 US Congressman. He served in the Union Army during the Civil War. He was elected as a Republican to represent North Carolina's 7th Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1868 to 1871.
