Kalmanir, Tommy 'Cricket' b. March 31, 1926 d. October 12, 2004 Professional Football Player. As a halfback at the University of Nevada, he led the country in kickoff returns for three years. In 1947, he was drafted 23rd by the Pittsburgh Steelers, but the Rams traded for him and signed him in 1949. He played three seasons with the Rams and was starting halfback on the 1951 Los Angeles Rams team that won the National Football League Championship.
