Holley, Alexander Hamilton b. August 12, 1804 d. October 2, 1887 Governor of Connecticut. He served as Lieutenant Governor from 1854 to 1855 and as Governor from 1857 to 1858. Holley was also variously a cutlery manufacturer, bank president, and a Lieutenant Colonel in the Connecticut State Militia.
