Burke, Francis Xavier 'Frank' b. September 29, 1918 d. September 6, 1988 World War II Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. Served in World War II in the United States Army as a First Lieutenant in the 15th Infantry, 3d Infantry Division. He was awarded the CMOH for his bravery at Nuremberg, Germany on April 17, 1945. His citation reads "He fought with extreme gallantry in the streets of war-torn Nuremberg, Germany, where the 1st Battalion, 15th Infantry, was engaged in rooting out fanatical defenders of the citadel of Nazism. McGriff, Jimmy b. April 3, 1936 d. May 24, 2008 Musician. Born James Harrell McGriff, he was one of the great Hammond B3 organists of all time. In 1962, he signed with Sue Records in New York and his arrangement of "I've Got a Woman" was a top five hit on both Billboard's R&B and Pop Charts.
