Davis, Edwin Page b. December 31, 1837 d. October 22, 1890 Civil War Union Brevet Brigadier General. He served during the Civil War first as a Captain in the 62nd New York Volunteer Infantry, then as Colonel and commander of the 153rd New York Volunteer Infantry. He was brevetted Brigadier General, US Volunteers on October 19, 1864 for "gallant and meritorious services in the battles of Opequan, Fisher's Hill, and Middletown, Va."
