Faye, Joey b. July 12, 1909 d. April 26, 1997 Entertainer. Born Joseph Antony Palladino in New York's Greenwich Village, He is dubbed the last of the great Burlesque players who's career in comedy spanned nearly 70 years. He served in the USO entertaining the troupes in Europe with Marlene Dietrich, during WW2. He is the author of many famous sketches from Vaudeville and Burlesque, such as "Slowly I Turn," and "Floogle Street."
