Cole, David B. b. June 3, 1962 d. January 24, 1995 Musician. David Cole and Robert Clivillęs formed the musical group C + C Music Factory in 1990. The duo had several hits, including their most popular Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now). They went on to win a Producers Grammy in 1993 for their work on the original soundtrack album "The Bodyguard." In 1995 Cole died of spinal meningitis. (Bio by: Richard H.) Grant, Ulysses Franklin b. August 1, 1865 d. May 27, 1937 Hall of Fame Negro Leagues Baseball Player. One of the top African-American players of the late 19th century, he played for top integrated minor league teams, including the Buffalo Bisons, as well as some of the top all-Black teams. Primarily a second baseman, he was usually among league batting leaders throughout his 18 year career. MacNeal, Harry Lewis b. March 22, 1879 d. March 13, 1950 Spanish-American War Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the War with Spain, serving as a Corporal in the Marine detachment on board the "USS Brooklyn". He was awarded the CMOH for his bravery at the Battle of Santiago de Cuba, on July 3, 1898. His citation reads "Braving the fire of the enemy, MacNeal displayed gallantry throughout his action." Taylor, Herbert Worthington b. February 19, 1869 d. October 15, 1931 US Congressman. He attended Newark's Coleman Business College and graduated from the University of New York Law School in 1891, afterwards practicing law in New York City and New Jersey. He served on the Newark City Council from 1899 to 1903 and in the New Jersey Assembly from 1904 to 1905. In 1913 Taylor became Chairman of the Essex County Republican committee, serving until 1917 and attending the 1916 Republican National Convention as a Delegate. Vellucci, Luigi b. July 27, 1913 d. October 17, 2012 Opera Singer. A versatile tenor who sang roughly 80 roles in five languages, he is remembered for his long tenure with the New York City Opera. Zitzmann, William Arthur "Billy" b. November 19, 1895 d. May 29, 1985 Major League Baseball Player. Shortstop and outfielder for the Pittsburgh Pirates into the 1919 season, then purchased by the World Series winning Cincinnati Reds where he played the remainder of his career.
