Dick, David b. February 18, 1930 d. July 16, 2010 Television Journalist. He is best known for his work as a correspondent with CBS News from 1966 to 1985. Raised in Bourbon County, Kentucky, he attended North Middletown High School and enrolled at the University of Kentucky; his studies there were interrupted by service in the US Navy during the Korean War. Upon returning home he resumed his education at the University of Kentucky and attained bachelor's and later master's degrees in English Literature.
