McLean, Raymond "Scooter" b. December 6, 1915 d. March 4, 1964 Professional Football Player, Coach. McLean played both sides of the ball for the National Football League's Chicago Bears from 1940 to 1947 and then served as the head of the Green Bay Packers during the 1958 season. He played both football and basketball at St. Anselm College in Goffstown, New Hampshire before joining the Chicago Bears of the NFL, who had selected him during the 1940 NFL Draft. Newhouser, Harold 'Prince Hal' b. May 20, 1921 d. November 10, 1998 Hall of Fame Major League Baseball Player. For seventeen seasons (1939 to 1955), he was a left-handed pitcher with the Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Indians. Born Harold Newhouser, he attended Wilbur Wright High School in Detroit and was signed by the Tigers as an amateur free agent in 1939.
