Bellow, Saul b. June 10, 1915 d. April 5, 2005 Author. A native of Lachine, Quebec, he was a 1976 Prize-Winning Nobel Laureate. Some of his best known works are, "Dangling Man" (1944), "The Adventures Of Augie March" (1953), "Herzog" (1964), "Mr. Sammler's Planet" (1970), and "More Die Of Heartbreak" (1987). During his career he captured three National Book Awards and a Pulitzer Prize. He died at the age of 89 at his home in Brookline, Massachusetts. Fuller, Levi Knight b. February 24, 1841 d. October 10, 1896 Vermont Governor. He attended Brattleboro High School and apprenticed with a Boston machinist while working as telegrapher to finance continued studies. He became an engineer with Estey Organ, and later married Abby Estey, the owner's daughter. Gibson, Ernest William b. March 6, 1901 d. November 4, 1969 Governor of Vermont. The son of Senator Ernest Gibson, he graduated from Norwich University in 1923 and George Washington University Law School in 1926, afterwards becoming an attorney in Brattleboro.
