Cramton, Louis Converse b. December 2, 1875 d. June 23, 1966 US Congressman. He graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 1899 and became an attorney in Lapeer. In 1905 he became Publisher of the Lapeer County Clarion newspaper, holding this post until 1923. In 1907 he was Deputy Commissioner of the Michigan Railroad Commission, and from 1907 to 1909 he was the commission's Secretary. Knight, Terry b. April 9, 1943 d. November 1, 2004 Musician. Born Richard Terrance Knapp in Flint, Michigan, he changed his name to Terry Knight when he began to work as a DJ in the Michigan area. He formed his own band called Terry Knight and the Pack and had one top 50 single in early 1967 titled "I (Who Have Nothing)."
