Thompson II., Edward Lee b. March 14, 1914 d. July 16, 1979 Mr. Thompson was a left-handed pitcher in the Negro League Baseball. He played for the Winona Merchants in Winona, Minn, the Kansas City Monarchs and the Chicago American Giants. Some of his team mates were Satchell Paige, James "Cool" Pappa Bell, and many others.
