Wilson, Isaac b. June 25, 1780 d. October 25, 1848 US Congressman. He relocated to New York and settled in Batavia, Genesee County (now Attica, Wyoming County). He was a Cavalry Captain in the War of 1812, seeing combat in several battles on the New York-Canada border. He became active in several business ventures, including a store and a mill, and also served as Postmaster. Wilson served in the New York Assembly from 1816 to 1817 and the New York Senate from 1818 to 1821. From 1821 to 1823 Wilson was Judge of the Genesee County Court.
