Adams, Andrew b. January 7, 1736 d. November 26, 1797 Continental Congressman. He was a Delegate from Connecticut to the Second Continental Congress in 1778, and was a signer of the Articles of Confederation of the United States. During the Revolutionary War he fought in the Connecticut Militia with the rank of Colonel; in later years he served as a Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Connecticut. Strong, Jedediah b. November 7, 1738 d. August 21, 1802 Continental Congressman. A native of Litchfield, Connecticut, he served as a Member of the Connecticut State House of Representatives from 1771 to 1801, and 1779 to 1788, County Judge from 1780 to 1791, Delegate to the Continental Congress from Connecticut from 1782 to 1784, and as a Member of the Connecticut State Council from 1789 to 1790.
