Gretter, Clemens b. 1904 d. 1988 Acclaimed Artist, Illustrator. He started as a "ghost illustrator" for Robert Ripley of "Ripley's Believe it or Not" fame. He also did illustrations for a number of clients including Sears and Robuck, Otis Elevator, and illustrated a number of the "Hardy Boys" book covers. Sibal, Abner Woodruff b. April 11, 1921 d. January 27, 2000 US Congressman. Served in the United States Army during World War II. Elected to represent Connecticut's 4th District in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1961 to 1965. He was defeated in 1964. Taylor, Nelson b. June 8, 1821 d. January 16, 1894 Civil War Union Brigadier General, US Congressman. He was admitted to the bar in 1860 and opened a law practice in New York City. At the start of the Civil War, he was commissioned Colonel of the 32nd Regiment, New York Volunteer Infantry, in July 1861. Promoted Brigadier General in September 1862, he resigned from the service in January 1863 and resumed legal practice.
