Beckwith, Wallace A. d. 1929 Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. Served in the Civil War as a Private in Company F, 21st Connecticut Volunteer Infantry. He was awarded the CMOH of his bravery at the Battle of Fredericksburg, Virginia, on December 13, 1862. Miller, William Jennings b. March 12, 1899 d. November 22, 1950 US Congressman. Served in the United States Army during World War I, first as a Private in the Infantry, then as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Air Corps as a pilot in first the 80th, then the 1014th Aero Squadrons.
