Jones, John b. August 25, 1841 d. August 15, 1907 Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He was a Landsman in the Union Navy. His citation reads "Served on board the USS Rhode Island which was engaged in saving the lives of the officers and crew of the USS Monitor, 30 December 1862.
