Aandahl, Fred George b. April 9, 1897 d. April 7, 1966 23rd North Dakota Governor, US Congressman. He served as Governor of North Dakota from 1945 to 1950. He was later elected to represent North Dakota as an At-Large Delegate in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1951 to 1953. After his term in Congress he served as Assistant Secretary of the Interior in both Administrations of President Dwight D. Eisenhower Administrations, serving from 1953 to 1961.
