Hall, Thomas b. June 6, 1869 d. December 4, 1958 United States Congressman from North Dakota. Born in Cliff Mine, Michigan, his family moved to North Dakota when he was a teenager. After college he labored as a construction worker and clerk for several railroad companies. He later became a reporter for a Fargo newspaper and in 1910 he was appointed to the board of railroad commissioners. He served as North Dakota's Secretary of State from 1912 to 1924 and from 1942 to 1954. He was elected to Congress four times serving from 1924 to 1933.
