Callan, Thomas J. b. July 12, 1853 d. May 5, 1908 Indian Wars Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. Served during the Indian Wars as a Private in Company B, 7th United States Cavalry. He was awarded the CMOH for his bravery at the Battle of Little Big Horn, Montana on June 25 and 26, 1876. His citation reads "Volunteered and succeeded in obtaining water for the wounded of the command; also displayed conspicuously good conduct in assisting to drive away the Indians". Corcoran, Larry b. August 10, 1859 d. October 14, 1891 Major League Baseball Player. 1880's Superstar Major League Pitcher. After Chicago found that catcher Ed "Siver" Flint could control him and deal with his speed, Corcoran became one of the greatest pitchers of the 1880s, winning 170 games and losing only 84 from 1880 through 1884 for the Chicago NL team. Farrell, John A. "Jack" b. July 5, 1857 d. February 10, 1914 Major League Baseball Player. Nicknamed "Moose", played second base in 1879 for the Syracuse Stars and Providence Grays until 1885. He was a member of the 1884 championship Grays. In 1886, he went to the Philadelphia Quakers then the Washington Nationals. He finished his career in the American Association with the Baltimore Orioles in 1888 to 1889. In his 11 year career, he batted .243 with 877 hits and 23 home runs. McDonald, Edward Francis b. September 21, 1844 d. November 5, 1892 US Congressman. He enlisted in the Union Army during the Civil War, being mustered in as a Corporal in Company I, 7th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry on September 18, 1861. Promoted to Sergeant on May 1, 1862, he served until he was discharged due to disability on December 29, 1862.
