John William Wiley, age 84, of Newport, Tennessee passed away on Monday, April 18, 2011 at Baptist Hospital of Cocke County. He was a member of Manning's Chapel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Cleveland Wiley and Betty Click Wiley; sister Mary Crowe; and brother Winston Wiley. He is survived by his brother, James Ray Wiley; sisters Martha Eloise Dalton, Maggie Blanchard, Hattie Shults, and Dorothy Wiley; several nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends at the Baptist Convalescent Center. We would like to give a special thanks to all the employees at the Baptist Convalescent Center for all your hard work and kindness. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Brown Funeral Home. A private Interment will be on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at Union Cemetery. Brown Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
