Prayer services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Grennan Funeral Home,k Sterling, followed by an 11:30 a.m. Mass of the Resurection at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Rock Falls, with the Rev. Bernard Mullane, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with a Rosary at 8 p.m.
Mr. Arduini was born July 7, 1925, in Rock Falls, the son of Phillip and Antonette (Carrino) Arduini. He married Mary J. Foley on Oct. 15, 1646, in Sterling. He was a lif-long resident of Rock Falls. He owned and operated the Arduini Bros., later Arduini & Sons Heating and Plumbing, in Rock Falls for 23 years. He was a sanitarian and director of environmental health, Whiteside County, for 15 years, retiring in 1986. He served as building commissioner for the City of Rock Falls during the Mayor Albert George's administration and served as Police Magistrate for Rock Falls from 1961 - 1965. He was elected Mayor of Rock Falls in 1985.
