In the passing away of Miss Emma Myers we loose a friend and one who had lived a true Christian life. But our loss is Heaven's gain. She had lived in this community nealry fifty (can't read a few words) known and loved by all. Had been blind most of her life, never complained, but always happy, here one great desire was to help others to a higher and better life. She was an ordained elder to the church, also evangelistic singer. Her singing was marvelous and the power of God whoudl take hold of the hears as she sang the songs of redemptoin. She had been in failing health the past two hears, but never lost the desire to go and help lead the erring ones to Christ. Her life was a benediction to all and as we all think of "Emma" our thoughts will be to heaven. Many are the times she testified that some day the darkened windows would be opened, and we are sure she is enjoying the beauties of Heaven today. We will miss her but "God doeth all things well.
