FRANS, William (Jack), Age 86, passed away Saturday, February 20th in Poway, California. He was born July 15, 1901 in Union, Nebraska and had lived in Rancho Bernardo 3 years. Prior to moving to Rancho Bernardo he lived in Pasadena, Los Angeles area for over 70 years. He was employed by the Prudential Insurance Company for 39 years. Survived by his wife Katharine Frans of Rancho Bernardo; 1 daughter, Sharon Malloy of Poway; 3 sons, Don Frans of Cleburne, Texas; Frank Frans of Roseburg, Oregon; and William Frans of Winston, Oregon. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 1:00 pm at the Poway-Bernardo Mortuary Chapel, Poway, California, with the Reverend John Lee officiating. Interment in Dearborn Memorial Park, Poway, California. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to The Alzheimers Research Foundation. Services are under direction of Poway-Bernardo Mortuary.
