Ross B. Franciscus, 85, of 2620 Yorkway, Dundalk, Md., (formerly of N. Hanover St., Carlisle) died Tuesday at the Manor Care Nursing Home, Baltimore, Md.
He was born July 22, 1887, in Boiling Springs, the son of the late James and Elizabeth Baker Franciscus, and was the widower of Lena A. Franciscus.
He was a retired employee of the Carlisle Shoe Company.
Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Pauline F. Baker, Dundalk, Md.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the Hoffman Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., with the Rev. Dr. Gerald D. Kauffman officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday evening from 7 to 9.
