Roy "Lee" Taylor Jr., 79, passed away peacefully Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, with his children by his side. Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 2, at the Mausoleum Chapel at Waco Memorial Park with Lee's grandson, Austin Murray, officiating.

Lee was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, to the late Roy Lee and Lucille Metzger Taylor. He graduated from Texas Tech in 1955. Lee worked in advertising for many years, moving to Waco in 1959, where he joined Greene-Bush Advertising. In 1964, Lee and I.R. "Buck" Buchanan formed Sales Promotions and Advertising. Lee was also active in the Advertising Club of Waco and served as its president from 1966 to 1967. In 1977, Lee joined Time Manufacturing Co. as Division Sales Manager, a position he held until his retirement in 1998.

Lee was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rosemary (Jamison) Munson Taylor; sister, Margaret Wood; and brother, John A. Taylor.

He is survived by daughters, Lisa Hutson and husband, Will, and Lucy Segars and husband, Wade; sons, Matt Taylor and wife, Lillie, and Chris Taylor and wife, Sheralee; step-son, Jim Munson and wife, Kathy; grandchildren, Garrett Holick and wife, Donyale, Adam Hutson, Niki Taylor, Riki Taylor, Travis Taylor, Hailey Taylor, Andrew Murray, and Austin Murray; great-grandchildren, Lexi Holick, Ella Holick, Isaiah Dougherty, Jaden Dougherty, Zane Rosenbaum, and Landry Rosenbaum; as well as other relatives and numerous friends.
