BEECH CREEK - Ruby Piper Shepherd, 65, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004 at her residence.
Born in Muhlenberg County, Sept. 25, 1939, to Jenettie Piper and the late Penueal Piper, she was a homemaker and of Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Aldridge.
Survivors include a daughter, Jetter Jessup of Beechmont; four brothers, Ray Piper of Belton, Penueal Piper, Jr. of Beech Creek, Donnie Piper of Cleaton and Monnie Piper of Ennis; two sisters, Patsy Jarvis of Browder and Betty Bishop of Moorman; and a grandson.
Graveside funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Nov. 13 at Forest Grove Cemetery in Browder with the Rev. Gary Hines officiating. Tucker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
