Robert Lewis Baldwin, 81, of Dickinson, Texas, passed away on Saturday, December 3,2005, in Webster, Texas. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and devoted husband of fifty years. Robert was a dedicated member of the Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church, supportive Gator fan, and generous community member. He had impeccable work ethic and volunteered many hours toward public education. He was born on August 3,1924, in Palacious, Texas to Alfred and Lydia Sue Baldwin. Robert retired as Chief Operator from Union Carbide in 1984. He played semi-pro basketball and baseball for Union Carbide. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Baldwin; parents; twin brother, Roland; brothers, Ralph and Merwin; sister, Mildred Baldwin and Theresa Raun. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Jane Musick and husband, William Wilcox of League City, Kathleen Sue Baldwin Bruysschaard and husband, John of Dickinson and sister, Mabel Neumann of La Marque. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Wendy Clough and husband, James of League City, Rock Musick and wife, Stefani of Dallas, Greg Musick of Arlington, Virginia, and Ty Bruysschaard of Dickinson and great-grandchildren, Hunter and Hailey Clough of League City. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 6,2005, at 10:30 a.m., at The Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church in Dickinson, Texas with interment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas. Serving as pallbearers will be Willie Wilcox, John Bruysschaard, James Clough, Rock Musick, Greg Musick, and Joe Hahn.
