Dorothy S. Allen, 95, 14434 W. Siphon Road, died late Tuesday evening, January 14, 1992, in a local hospital.

She was born April 9, 1906, at Longmont, Colorado, to Elmer and Edyth Gregg Sprague. She graduated from the College of Idaho at Caldwell, Idaho in 1928. She married R. Gail Allen May 21, 1937 at Caldwell, Idaho. They were later divorced.

She was employed as a school teacher in Idaho, Washington state, and Lompoc, California. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and doll collecting. She was a member of AARP. She was a volunteer for RSVP, the Portneuf Library, and Wilcox School. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by two sons; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday morning, January 17, 1992, in Henderson Funeral Chapel, 431 N. 15th Ave., with Rev. R. Coke McClure officiating. Interment will take place 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon in Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell, Idaho, with Rev. Jim Moore officiating.
