Fred H. Adams

    CALDWELL—Fred H. Adams, 82, of 1021 Fillmore Street, a longtime farmer in Canyon County, died Friday morning in a local hospital.

    Mr. Adams was born July 5, 1880, in Dover, Ky., and was married Nov. 29, 1908, in Sioux Falls, S.D., to Luella Christopherson. A master mechanic by trade in his younger years, he worked for a railroad until 1920, when he moved to a farm near Lake Lowell and continued to farm until he retired 10 years ago.

    He was a member of the Christian Church in Dover and attended the First Christian Church here. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias in Cleveland, Ohio.

    Survived in addition to Mrs. Adams are a son, Dr. W. K. Adams of Caldwell; two sisters, Mrs. Marcia Moore and Mrs. Nell Apple, both of Huntington, W. Va., and four grandchildren. A son, Delbert, died in 1939. Services will be conducted at the Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Ralph Maier will officiate and interment will be at Canyon Hill.
