DEAN SCHECTER
Dean Schecter, 89, of Humeston, died Wednesday, August 7, at his home. He was a retired farmer and lifelong resident of Humeston.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred, of Humeston; two daughters, Marilyn Baker of Indianola; and Joann Fry of Mitchellville; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Reva Rimkus of Chariton and brother, Wayne Schecter of Muskegon, Mich.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Fielding Funeral Home with the Rev. Evalyn Carlson officiating and burial in the Humeston Cemetery.
