Bernard Brinker, age 83, husband of Mrs. Katherine Brinker, died of complications Saturday afternoon in his home, 316 Washington Street. He had been ill the last few years. Mr. Brinker was born March 20, 1862, in Cincinnati, the son of Joseph and Bernardine Geise Brinker. He attended St. Paul Parochial School in Cincinnati. On September 4, 1889, Mr. Brinker married Katherine Wessel in St. Paul Catholic Church in Cincinnati. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1939. Mr. Brinker came to Hamilton in 1892 with the Mosler Safe Company, where he was a valued employee for 52 years. He retired in 1932. A devout Catholic, Mr. Brinker was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hamilton and was affiliated with the Married Men's Society of that church. He leaves the widow, Mrs. Brinker; two sons, Richard J. Brinker, Bond Hill, Cincinnati, and Paul H. Brinker, Hamilton; two daughters, Mrs. George B. Reardon, Cincinnati, and Miss Mildred Brinker, Hamilton, and one granddaughter, Mary Eileen Brinker, Bond Hill. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock in the Colligan Funeral Home, 437 South Third Street, followed by Requiem High Mass at 10 o'clock in St. Joseph church. Burial will be in St. Stephen cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday after 4 o'clock.
