Marie St.Germain Lohman passed from this life on Saturday, October 27, 2012. She was 89. Ms. Lohman came to Littleton in 1942 from Ogema, MN. She was employed at the Heckathorn defense factory during World War II where she met and married William (Bill) St.Germain. She became a mother and homemaker following the war and remained in Littleton for over 70 years. Marie is survived by her three daughters. She will also be remembered by her four grandchildren and her six great grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by her first husband, William A. St.Germain (1980) and her second husband, John T. Lohman (1998). Throughout her lifetime, Ms. Lohman attended St. Mary's Catholic Church and was an active member of the Littleton Lady Elks Association, Lodge #1650. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, charitable contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, the Alzheimer's Association or the Sophi Fund for the Blind (via Littleton Elks Lodge #1650). A Rosary Service in Marie's honor will be said on Thursday, November 1, 2012, 7:00 P.M. at Drinkwine Family Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Friday, 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Littleton. Private burial will follow at Littleton Cemetery.
