In 1880 he lived there with his aunt Sarah, and his sister Sarah and her daughter Rose. He married Olive Tewksbury October 7, 1884 in Athens County. She died April 4, 1885 after giving birth to their child, about whom nothing further is known. He married Sarah Ann Bolin March 17, 1888 in Athens County.
In 1900 he and his wife and their daughter Blanche lived on a farm they were renting in Athens Township in the same county. (Sadie is shown as Blanche's mother in all records found to date, although she was born almost three years before her parents were married.)
In 1910 the three of them plus Blanche's two daughters lived in a house they were renting on Richland Avenue in the same township. He worked as a laborer in a hospital barn and Blanche as a laundress at home.
In 1920 he and Sadie and their granddaughter Lucille lived in a house they owned, mortgage free, on the same street. He worked as a coal miner.

Injuries in Fall Cause Death of George Jack
Mr. George M. Jack, age 76, of 374 Richland Ave., died yesterday afternoon at Sheltering Arms Hospital as result of hip and collar bone injuries sustained in a fall three weeks ago. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock at the Richland Ave. Methodist Church, by Rev. Ray Huff. Surviving relatives are a daughter, Mrs. Floyd Butcher, a granddaughter, Mrs. B. F. Cline, of Columbus, and two grandsons, Jack and Thomas. Mrs. Jack died three years ago.
