CADIZ, Ky. — Viola Stewart Simpson, 88, Cerulean, died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at Trigg County Hospital of natural causes.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Revs. Reed Shepherd and Gary Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Cerulean Cemetery, Trigg County. Visitation will begin at 4:00 this afternoon.
A native of Trigg County, she was born Jan. 25, 1915, the daughter of the late Francis Cleveland and Thora Blakeley Stewart. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cerulean Baptist Church. Her husband, Fay Simpson, died in 1982.
Survivors include two sons, Glenn and Charles Simpson, both of Cerulean, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a stepgreat-grandchild.
