The Elmira Star-Gazette, October 16, 1914:

At the funeral of Harvey E. Ludlow, which was held at the family home on Euclid avenue yesterday afternoon, the Rev. William T. Henry, the pastor of the First Baptist Church, who had been a personal friend of the decedent many years, conducted the impressive service. Dr. Henry spoke in a personal manner of the life work of Mr. Ludlow and his devotion to his family, his friends and his business. The Masonic quartet renderer several selections. Sixty-two members of St. Omers Commandery, Knights Templar escorted the remains to the family plot in Woodlawn cemetery, where the impressive committal service of the Knights Templar was conducted by the officers of the Commandery. The pall bearers were Joseph O. Woolf, Adelbert S. Hamilton, William H. Snyder, Henry K. Ball, Fred H. Speh and Robert A. Wilbur.

Harvey E Ludlow died 10/13/1914 in Elmira. He was born 8/22/1858 in Penn Yan. He leaves his widow. a daughter, Hazel; two sisters, Mrs Robert P Bush, and Mrs F M Raymond; and five brothers, Walter W, Will H, Fred D, Harry M, and Frank. Burial in Woodlawn cemetery, Elmira.
