"December 5, 1993,Johnstown paper NITCH--Mary E., 81, Moxham, died December 3, 1993, (Friday) at Laurel View Village. Born August 20, 1912, in Johnstown, daughter of John and Mary Pfarr Abele. Preceded in death by parents, brothers John, James, Francis and Clarence, and sisters, Gertrude, Leona, and Adeline. Survived by husband George Leo Nitch, daughters, Mary Lee at home, and Patricia, wife of Barry Roberts, Jennerstown; and grandchildren, Paula, Kerri, and Barry Roberts. Sister of Thomas, Donald, and Betty Garmen. Celebrated 50th wedding anniversary on June 8, 1992.Former employee of PA. Department of Public Assistance. Member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and St. Francis Alumni Association. Friends received from 7 to 9 pm., Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, Monday at Moskal and Kennedy Colonial Funeral Home, Ohio Street, and Highland Avenue, where wake service will be held Monday afternoon (December 6) . Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Tuesday at St. Patrick's church. Father William H. McGovern. Internment, Immaculate Conception Cemetery."
