State of Tennessee Carroll County, April 1, 1842
Know all men by these that I John Kee of the county and State aforesaid do and have this day make this my last will in the distribution of my property being as I consider in my right mind and i give to my beloved wife Polly Kee my land and farm where I now live together with all my stock of all kinds household and kitchen furniture and all the the property I now possess after all my Just debts is paid which I wish to be done of such property as she can spare most conveninet all of which I give to my dear wife during her life or widowhood at the death I wish all to be sold and equally divided among my children, James Kee, Elizabeth Kee, Charles Kee, William Kee, Rachell Kee and Roda Kee as in testimony of this last will hereunto set my hand and affix my seal the day and date above written.
