AGED RESIDENT OF COUNTY PASSES AWAY - WILLIAM CARPENTER DIES AT HIS HOME SATURDAY - His Death was Due to Old Age and Attending Ills - Will Be Buried at Pleasant Prairie. --- William Carpenter, an aged resident of this county, passed away at his home southeast of Pleasant Prairie about 6 o'clock Saturday night. The cause of his death was old age and attending ills. He had been failing for the past several weeks and little hope was entertained for his recovery. He is one of the oldest settlers in the county, coming here while still in his youth. --- At the time of his death he was 87 years of age and up to three months ago was thought to be in excellent health. He has many relatives and friends in this vicinity and his demise is regretted by all who knew him. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock from the church at Pleasant Prairie and interment will be made in Parr Cemetery. A short service will also be held at the house at 12 o'clock.
