Funeral services for Mrs. Birdie Vann, 71, 1344 16th St., who died Monday, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Four Square Gospel Church of which she was a member, with Rev. O.R. Alpert officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Gates; Kingsley & Gates are in charge of arrangements.
Born in Missouri, Mrs. Vann had been a resident here for the past 16 years. She was the widow of the late William J. Vann and is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Stella Bliss, Santa Monica, six sons, Olie Vann, Venice; Clarence and Lewis Vann, Prescott, Ariz.; Brice Vann, El Segundo, and Dewey Blankenship; Torrence. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
