Charles Lester Peace was born 1875 to Henry Peece and Emma Rumbaugh Peace. Henry and Emma parted, Henry went to Ohio, and Emma married Abraham Staley. She became Emma Peace Staley. Charles and Mary B McCord Peace had 9 children

1. Gertrude Veronica Peace Decker.
2. Charles Ambrose Peace
3. Bernard Leon Peace
4. Mary Teresa Peace Spade
5. Margaret Ann Peace Perigo
6. Cathrine B Peace Osley
7. Anthony A Peace
8. Leo Francis Peace
9. Helen M Peace Troy.

Charles Peace was an electrician and crane operator at Bethlehem Steel Co, Steelon, PA. After he retired, "Les" loved maintaining the gardens at Italian Lake in Harrisburg, PA. Being an eletrician was one of his many talents. He followed his father's (Henry Peece)"fix anything" talent. Their house was the first to have electricity in Steelton, PA. We found a sister (Effie Peace Fouch) and an "adopted" brother (Cloyd Peace) that the Charles Peace family never really knew. Charles L Peace, Abraham Staley (stepfather) and Emma Rumbaugh Peace Staley (mother) are on the same headstone.
