Marjorie B. Silliman, 85, of Windsor, wife of the late Fred Silliman, died Tuesday, (July 8, 2008), at a local convalescent home. Born in Pittsfield, MA., daughter of the late Henry and Mabel (Osgood) Bartlett, she lived in Windsor for over 70 years where she had been an active member of the Poquonock Community Church and its Women's Fellowship. She also enjoyed sewing and crafts. Marge had been employed by the former Hartford National Bank & Trust Co. and Colonial Printers of Windsor. She leaves her four sons, John Silliman and his wife, Debby of Windsor, James Silliman of Paul Smiths, NY, Jeffrey Silliman and his wife, Dianne and Robert Silliman and fiancée, Amy Howard all of Windsor; eight grandchildren, John Jr., Thomas, Kate, Nicole, Robert, Jr., Nathaniel, Caryn, and Jared; and seven great grandchildren, John III, Grace, Rosalie, Arissa, Phoebe, Nikolas, and Joshua. Besides her husband Fred, Marge was predeceased by her brother, Richard Bartlett.
