Goldie Shane, 99, Salina, died Tuesday, April 10, 2007.
Mrs. Shane was born Goldie Irene Brewer on Dec. 28, 1907, in Gypsum.
She was a retired beautician, retiring in 1982.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick J. Shane; her father, George M. Brewer; mother, Jennie M. VanFossen; two daughters, Maxine Bertell and Grace Rowe; five sisters, Gladys, Alice Holcomb, Jennie Lambert, Iva Bowells, Viola Lohman; five brothers, Edward Brewer, George Brewer, Albert Brewer, Clifford Brewer, and Harold Brewer.
Survivors include a son, William Morris and wife Nereen of Bullhead, Ariz.; a daughter, Patty L. Miller and husband Chuck of Enterprise; a sister, Lorrine Gump of Anchorage, Alaska; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a great-great-great-granddaughter.
A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Roselawn Memorial Park, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina 67401, Pastor Scharleen Cross, officiating.
Memorials may be made to Enterprise United Methodist Church, 308 N. Bridge, Enterprise Kansas 67441.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina Kansas 67401, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m.
