Karen M. (Downes) Cyr of Brighton died Oct. 25, 2012, at the age of 58 years, from cancer. She was the beloved wife of David L. Cyr Sr. for 34 years. She was predeceased by her parents, William F. and Irene C. (Ryan) Downes. She is survived by her husband, David; and their sons, Dennis, Daniel and David Cyr Jr.; her twin sister, Kathleen Curtis; and her brothers, Barry, Brendan, Robert and William Downes; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral from the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave. (near Brighton Courthouse), Brighton, Tuesday at 8 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Columbkille Church, 321 Market St., Brighton, at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 2-7 p.m. Interment is private.
