Foster -- Johnnie Morris, Jr., 86, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012 in Marlow .

Johnnie was born Thursday, July 15, 1926 in Doyle, Oklahoma, to John Morris and Carrie (Walker) Morris. He was a lifetime resident of the Foster area. On July 18, 1951 Johnnie and Edith Thompson were married in Arkansas. Johnnie worked as a heavy equipment operator in road construction for many years. He enjoyed coon hunting and farming. Johnnie loved talking with friends and spending time with them. Family was very important to Johnnie. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include, his wife, Edith of the home, two sons, Ricky Morris and wife Diana and Gary Morris, two daughters, Susie Martin and husband William and Brenda Condit and husband Arnold all of Foster, five grandchildren,Christi Windham and husband Gayle, Chris Morris and wife Stephanie, Misty Newby and husband Judd, Angela McWhorter and husband Chad, and Vannesa Morris, six great-grandchildren, Ethon, Jahcee, Skylar, Tucker, Hannah, and Elizabeth, sister, Sis Painter of Marlow, numerous nieces and nephews.

Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, J.C., Les, Troy, and Jerome Morris, two sisters, Juanita Holt and Maggie Roberts.

Pallbearers will be: Mike Morris, Stacy Morris, Buddy Morris, Wayne Morris, Eldon Keck, and Kenny Wells.
